The Douglas F4D Skyray was an American in-flight jet fighter from the post-war period. The plane was built in a low wing configuration, it had a metal structure and a landing gear retracted in flight - three-support.
This model kit portrays the Skyray Douglas which has reached the U.S. Navy duty as an interceptor based at the carrier in the 1950s. The aircraft's specific delta-winged form has been modeled accurately, and the wingtips can also be configured in a folded place. While the pitch trims are mobile, the leading edge slats can also be placed in an open or closed position. Components for ordnance including Sidewinder missiles and rocket pods and one pilot figure are included, as well as three marking options. Measures 248 mm long when fully assembled.
